Bursa Malaysia continued its uptrend at noon, supported by shopping for in heavyweight shares, led by Public Financial institution Bhd.
At 12.30pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) bagged 7.95 factors to 1,453.13 in comparison with final Friday’s (Nov 10) closing of 1,445.18.
The index opened 0.28 of a degree simpler at 1,444.9.
On the broader market, gainers surpassed decliners 430 to 392, whereas 415 counters have been unchanged, 1,142 untraded and 9 others suspended.
Turnover stood at 1.88 billion items valued at RM871.43 million, Bernama reported.
