BURSA Malaysia prolonged yesterday’s (Sept 7) losses to finish decrease as we speak according to weaker regional market sentiment on account of rising issues over the bearish financial outlook, sellers mentioned.
At 5pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) declined 5.12 factors to settle at 1,454.59 from 1,460.07 at Thursday’s shut.
The barometer index opened 0.53 of a degree simpler at 1,459.54 and moved between 1,454.70 and 1,460.23 all through the day.
On the broader market, decliners thumped gainers 503 to 364, with 443 counters unchanged, 1,013 untraded and 7 others suspended.
Turnover decreased to 2.55 billion models value RM1.85 bil towards Thursday’s 3.21 billion models value RM2.02 bil. – Sept 8, 2023
